Directions from the North
- Take 1-93 South to the Columbia Road Exit #15 towards the JFK Library.
- Take the ramp towards Castle Island.
- Turn left onto Columbia Road.
- Enter the rotary and take the 1st exit onto Morrissey Boulevard (there is no sign, but it will send you towards the JFK Library and UMASS Boston).
- Turn right onto Pope’s Hill Street (right before the Stop and Shop grocery).
- At the top of the street turn right onto Neponset Avenue.
- Turn left onto Claymont Terrace.
- The school is at the top of Claymont Terrace at the intersection with Queen Street.
- Park in any available spot in the upper or lower lots.
Directions from the South
- Take the Expressway (93) North to Exit 13 toward Freeport Street/Dorchester.
- Turn left onto Morrissey Blvd. After 0.1 mile, turn slight right onto Morrissey Blvd./William T Morrissey Blvd.
- Turn right onto Popes Hill Road
- Turn right onto Neponset Avenue
- Turn Left onto Claymont Terrace
- Claymont Terrace becomes Queen Street
- Park in any available spot in the upper or lower lots.
Directions from the MBTA
Walking from Shawmut
Take the red line, Ashmont train, to Shawmut T station. The NHCS is a ten minute walk from the Shawmut Station. Walk out of the station, and turn right. Walk to the end of the block and then turn left onto Centre Street. Walk about one and a half blocks and you will see the St. Mark's campus on your left. Walk through the campus to Dorchester Ave. Cross Dorchester Ave. to King Street. Follow King Street across Adams Street and Train Street. About half a block after you cross train Street, turn right up Queen Street. The school entrance is up the hill and to the right.
Taking the bus from Fields Corner
Take the red line, Ashmont train, to Fields Corner T station. Catch the 201 or 202 bus lines, which run in a loop from the Fields Corner T-station down Adams Street and Neponset Avenue and back to Fields Corner. The busses stop at King Street and Neponset, which is a two block walk to the school. Exit the bus and walk up King Street. Turn left up Queen Street. The school entrance is up the hill and to the right.
